Ronald ChenWe are an integral part of the University of Kansas Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center in the State of Kansas and in the Kansas City area. Patients coming to KU will receive the most advanced treatments from our world-class physicians, who work with a team of providers who not only treat the cancer center, but all patients. Our cutting-edge research, including clinical trials continues to improve cancer treatments to increase cure rates, decrease treatment-related side effects, and quality of life. Our faculty members give lectures across the US and internationally on the latest in cancer treatments, and write books and guidelines defining the standards of care for various cancers. We are also proud to be the only department in Kansas and in the Kansas City area accredited to train the next generation of radiation oncologists and physicists. As part of one of the nation's premier Cancer Centers, our world-class team looks forward to meeting you.
