Welcome Message from the Director

As an outreach office and program of the University of Kansas Medical Center, the mission of the KU Area Health Education Center East is to enhance the quality and accessibility of health care services in the eastern one-third of Kansas. We accomplish this through the implementation of partnerships with communities, health care professionals and organizations, educational institutions and other interested individuals and agencies.

Our services include continuing education programming for physician, nurses and allied health professionals; community education and health screenings; promotion of careers in the health care field; and development and implementation of clinical opportunities for students in the health professions' programs.
